Federal magistrate David Nuffer (BYU JD '78) was confirmed Thursday, March 22, 2012, as the new U.S. District Court judge for Utah. He was was nominated last summer by President Obama, and was approved by the U.S. Senate on a 96-2 vote. Mr. Nuffer is a former Utah State Bar president and BYU Law School adjunct professor.
